Default Crush vs Snowball Dominance?

I'm just wondering which is more effective to farm.

I've seen a couple of posts here on the guru forums about SD, but I havnt seen really anything about Crush Spirits.

So yeah I'm just kinda wondering what the difference in the rewards is and I'm wondering what people thing is better to farm, or why to farm one over the other.

Probably:

SD if using two accounts.

Crush if using one account.

Of course, this depends greatly on completion time of either quest.

What are the average completion times for each?

Never done Crush, but I've seen reports of 3 minutes.
SD should be doable within 2 minutes on average (1 minute on /age).

Best I've done on a PUG for crush was 2:35.

SD and crush are pretty similar for rewards, but SD gives Ebon Vanguard while Crush gives more tonics

SD for me (Derv char w/Necro Hero) takes on average ~2mins with the odd ~4min run when I get a random screw up.
Pugging Crush, Runs can take anywhere from ~3mins(Optimum time) to ~5-6mins.

SD seems faster but it can also be a bit more mind numbing as there's no one to really talk to to, you have to pay attention the whole time or risk screwing up.
Crush has been more enjoyable for me as there's always people to talk to about random nonsense and no one in any of the groups I've been in has gotten mad with a ~5-6min run.
If you need Ebon points do SD. If you want a bit more gold do Crush.

SD is more reliable. I did it to get my necro from r8 Vanguard to max, with runs from about 1 min to 1:30. I stopped when I maxed Vanguard.

I also got 2 min runs with my monk, but I didn't bother maxing vanguard on my monk since I don't use PVE skills other than seed and selfless spirit.

i'd go with SD. especially if you have 2 accounts. with SD you only have to deal with one other person so if they suck/leave/go afk its only one person you have to replace.

with Crush you have to deal with you and 7 other people. So if people suck you have to go kick them replace and form teams and wait for others to get ready. And just with the general pugs suck idea SD is a better choice.

So either way i'd go SD(2 accounts or jsut 1). it just makes more sense form teams and time management wise.

(maxed ranger+necro vnaguard on this... necro is still going strong at around 308k vanguard points)

I agree, you should only do crush if you need to max the party title, as it rewards a large amounts of tonics.

I would say SD as well. Sure, it's incredibly boring, but the rewards/time ratio is great! With two accounts i'm easily making 80K+ an hour (25K/gifts, 20K/tonics)... with one account it's still pretty good at ~40K too.

I just hated Crush because it was so hard for a group to stay together. You would do two runs, then a person leaves, spend more time looking for another, then two leave after the next run etc etc... plus it's hard to findn a PUG that can do a run in under 3min :/

ea at gift stacks 25k ea and tonic stacks 15k ea(i havent been able to sell for 20k ea since late saturday) you make 91k every 26 runs with 2 accounts.

thats preety good money. Not sure on crush's money/time ratio per run(i dediced to put SD at 3mins with 1min run time and 2 min loading time.. so its really about 2mins and 15secs.. but hey when you get done faster thenu planned you usually feel preety good )

double account crush ftw It's mindboggling though, hard to keep up with shit sometimes, but it's fun
usually do double account SD though, cause it's more relaxing and layed back, don't gotta go, *rightclick screen 1, hit 1, rightclick screen 2, hit 2$ spamming, which can be troublesome
Oh, and on topic, SD for sure, did the double crush for fun a couple times, but don't advise it

Crush definitely (assuming you get a good group, I've had a 30% bad/70% good ratio this holiday season, or go for SD if you need to max Vanguard points)

Good/Decent PUG's get done in 3-6 min range
Great PUG's get done 2:30-3 min range (I've gotten 2:29 before)
Anything above 6~7 mins you should probably leave if there's another group available.
Make sure you play the suggested classes too, they'll go much faster, but you don't have to (I don't) (They are Derv/War/Necro/Rit)

x15 tonic, x15 gifts, 750 gold

Snowball Dominance gets a little tedious, and it is a little slow, but that may be because the character I want to GWAMM (max the vanguard title with) is neither a Ranger nor Necro. With the tediousness, Crush is more fun since there are actual people you can talk with (the fastest group I've been in has also been the most talkative/annoying)

x5 tonic, x10 gifts, vanguard pts., 500 gold

Crush's rewards obv. outweigh SD's, and SD is faster, arguably you'd have to do your own calculations based on your own run times.
I'd take Crush anyday, though.

And just a thought:

WAIT.... if you get MORE TONICS.... doesn't that mean you can SELL them for MORE MONEY...?

haha i wish... sadly tonics aren't selling.. at all. its a sad truth.. last year the lowest it went down to was around 100g/per tonic. now.. your lucky to get 20k for them.. as thats the price you have 50 people selling and about 3 people buying.. well do the math.. some of them will say screw it selling for less.. and dry up the amount of people.

Wait till things calm down(1-2 months from now, before Canthan New Year), and cross your fingers for sales.

Patience is a good virtue for any seller. Unless your selling at ridiculously low prices, of course.

That's what I do with ToT bags annually (rise back up to 50k at the beginning of each Halloween)

Hasnt anyone yet seen the trend - regardless of when you try and sell your tonics they are almost worthless.
Players want spammable stuff for titles and even after last years wintersday there was that many useless tonics no1 wanted them.Even halloween tonics some of us are still lumbered with.
Tonics sadly are always one of the easiest things to farm but also one of the hardest to sell - and bygone days of selling frosty tonics for 50 - 60k a stack i think are long gone

I'd say:
SD if you're alone or don't have time/mind to find a suitable group for crush. Or for your vanguard title.
Crush if you need party pts and money over vanguard reputation, and have time to find a group and do enough runs with it. Or if you're bored of SD.
